making handbags a couple of summers ago when I was having a hard time finding a light, fun bag to throw my wallet and phone in.  I got a ton of compliments on that bag, so I started making them as gifts for friends and family.  When they started getting compliments, I decided to start making them for everyone!

Each Nora Macey handbag is entirely handmade start to finish by me.  I work almost exclusively in vintage fabrics from the 50s, 60s and 70s -- including some Lilly Pulitzer fabrics for the Lauren original, Lauren mini and Kristin -- all of which I have in very limited quantities. This means your handbag will not only be handmade, it’s also virtually one-of-a-kind.

All of my bags have reinforced sides, straps and bottoms to hold up to everyday use.  They are also treated to resist dirt and stains.
